The technology
PURPOSE-BUILT FOR SUBSEA ROCK DRILLING
Norsub has developed a custom-built ROV system for specialized drilling in subsea rock.
The system enables drilling up to 6 metres horizontally into underwater rock formations and up to 6 metres vertically into rock beneath the seabed.
Rather than adapting a conventional ROV to the operation, the platform has been developed around the requirements of demanding subsea drilling.
